Full-time, seasonal position (40+hrs/week, contract ends December 31, 2023)

As a Robotics Production Technician at Tortuga, you’ll be core to the assembly and testing of our robotic systems. You’ll bring a strong work ethic and attention to detail while working closely with our engineering team. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced, flexible, and energized startup environment.
What you’ll do
Assemble, test, and perform corrective fixes on our robotic systems, including mostly mechanical (75%) and some electrical assembly (25%), following written work instructions
Work closely with the Production Lead to ensure the units produced are assembled correctly and work as designed
Test and identify problems in assembled components
What we’re looking for
1+ years of experience working on assembly of robotics, automation, or similarly complex electro-mechanical assemblies ideal; Mechanical experience in bicycles, vehicle maintenance, fleet maintenance, or other assembly considered
Full comfort with mechanical assembly, basic electrical assembly, and general shop tools (metal parts, fasteners, pulleys, bearings, premade electrical cables, hand tools, presses, multimeter, etc)
Excellent attention to detail, particularly when performing repetitive tasks, and a strong sense of personal responsibility of one’s work, self-starters highly appreciated
Respect for shared workspace, tools, and others’ time; discipline with staying organized and tidy
Great communication skills, excitement, and team attitude required
Proficiency in written English and ability to translate technical drawings and diagrams into real life assemblies
Ability to lift up to 70 lbs; Capable of being on your feet for long periods of time
The hourly rate pay range below represents the low and high end of our range for this position. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range, based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, and responsibilities.
Denver area pay range: $21 - $27 / hour
Please note you must be authorized to work in the United States for this position. This position is located in Denver and we are only considering local candidates.
This is a seasonal, hourly (40 hrs/wk) contract position through December 31, 2023. Benefits for this position include:
