Senior Partner & Client Executive Description
As a Senior Partner & Client Executive at RIOS, a leader in AI robotics, you will play a pivotal role in driving our company's growth by securing new business partners and clients as well as maintaining strong relationships with existing partners and clients. Our ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with a passion for technology and innovation, particularly in the field of automation and robotics in the manufacturing space. You will work closely with our engineering and product teams to deliver customized solutions that meet our clients' unique needs, helping them to achieve their business objectives through the integration of our cutting-edge robotics technologies.
Responsibilities
- Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue new business partners and client opportunities in the robotics industry. Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective partners and clients through networking, cold calling, and leveraging existing contacts.
- Client & Partner Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and partners throughout the sales process. Understand client needs and work collaboratively with the engineering and product teams to tailor solutions that meet these needs.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of sales strategies and targets. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new sales opportunities and areas for growth.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a deep understanding of RIOS's product offerings, capabilities, and value proposition. Educate potential and existing clients on how our robotics solutions can benefit their operations.
- Negotiation and Closing: Lead negotiations, propose solutions, and close deals, ensuring that contract terms meet both client and company needs.
- Account Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client and partner relationships. Work closely with clients post-sale to ensure satisfaction with our products and services, identify opportunities for upselling and repeat business, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Reporting and Administration: Keep detailed records of sales activity, prepare reports for senior management, and manage account details in the CRM system.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 3 years of sales experience, preferably in selling technology, automation and/or engineering services, to manufacturers and distributors in the wood products industry. In particular focus on secondary processing of logs into standard wood products e.g. Lumber, plywood, EWP, OSB, Siding etc.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of automation technologies and their applications in various industries. Ideally also familiar with AI and vision technologies as well.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate product value and negotiate effectively. Comfortable discussing technical details with both clients and engineering teams.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically about market opportunities and client needs.
- Teamwork: Proven ability to work collaboratively across departments to achieve sales and business objectives. Keeps customer relationship management systems up to date with all relevant information.
- Self-Motivated: Highly motivated self-starter who can operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
