Role Description

We’re hiring a Mechanical Engineering Intern for the summer of 2026 to help execute on our hardware and systems strategy for our robotic roofing products. You will support our team on the ground in Los Angeles, and will play a role designing, prototyping, integrating, and deploying products and systems in real world environments.

Qualifications

• Mechanical engineering, mechatronics, robotics, or industrial design background
• Comfortable with CAD, 3D printing, basic fabrication
• Can use hand tools and build scrappy prototypes
• Can wire simple electronics / cameras / sensors if needed
• Good at documenting tests with photos, videos, measurements
• Comfortable around contractors and warehouse environments
• Practical, not academic
