You will join a team developing state-of-the-art general-purpose robots designed to operate in human spaces and with human tools. It is designed to work alongside humans, mobilize to human spaces, and manipulate the world around it.
We’re seeking a Project Manager with experience in managing highly complex technical projects. As an integral member of the Design Team, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the successful execution of our projects from concept to completion. You’ll work with cross-functional teams, such as design, operations, engineering and business development, to consolidate the various functions of the company and drive projects forward.
Responsibilities:
● Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of design projects, holding the team accountable and ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
● Champin the Design Team by fostering collaboration and communication between designers, product managers, engineers and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to project delivery and successful outcomes.
● Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to support project objectives and optimize productivity.
● Identify potential risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle, develop mitigation plans, and proactively address issues to minimize disruptions and delays.
● Maintain high standards of quality throughout the design process, conducting regular reviews to ensure deliverables meet stakeholder expectations and project requirements.
● Serve as one of the primary Design Team points of contact for departments across the organization, providing regular updates on project status, addressing concerns or feedback, and managing expectations to ensure stakeholder satisfaction.
● Create and maintain accurate project documentation including project plans, status reports and meeting minutes. Ensure that action items are clearly communicated and executed on. Provide regular updates to stakeholders on milestones, risks and dependencies.
Requirements:
● Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Industrial Design or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
● Proven experience in project management, with a strong understanding of design processes and methodologies to effectively champion and communicate Design Team requirements.
● Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in digestible language, hold the team accountable to agreed upon deliverables, resolve conflicts and facilitate consensus among stakeholders.
● A strategic thinker demonstrating strong organizational and analytical skills. The ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
● Proficiency in project management tools such as Confluence, Jira, Miro, Microsoft suite or equivalent.
