You will join a team developing state-of-the-art general-purpose robots designed to operate in human spaces and with human tools. It is designed to work alongside humans, mobilize to human spaces, and manipulate the world around it.
We're looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer with proven hands-on capabilities and a strong practical background. We are primarily interested in candidates with prior implementation experience in on-premise networking and server administration. In this role, you will maintain our internal network and on-premise infrastructure from ideation to delivery for a variety of projects.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with IT Manager to plan and execute high level infrastructure planning as we continue to grow.
- Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure solutions including servers, networks, storage, and virtualization technologies.
- Generate documentation such as network topology maps, maintenance procedures, configuration profiles, security practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issue in a timely manner
- Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability
- Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in IT infrastructure.
- Implement security best practices to protect against cyber threats.
Must Have
- 3-5 Years experience working in network and server administration, undergraduate degree in relevant field preferred
- Excellent communication (verbal & written); will be expected to document current infrastructure and administration procedures
- Proven experience designing IT infrastructure, maintaining and updating
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, etc.).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Oracle) is a plus.
- Experience standing Enterprise grade SAN and full back up solutions across local and cloud resources
- A positive attitude and a strong interest in learning new ideas
- Exceptional attention to detail and engineering discipline
- Capable of multi-tasking and managing multiple deadlines
- Great team player able to perform within a dynamic start-up environment
Nice To Have
- Experience with SonicWall and Dell Hardware
- Experience Migrating from platform to platform
- Competent in network design and architecture
- Experience working with start-up company ramping their enterprise technology
- Experience with modern networking platforms like Ubiquiti
- Experience planning and implementing new facility infrastructure
