Agot is a mid-sized artificial intelligence (AI) startup based in Pittsburgh. We're building a camera AI product that will change the future of work. Agot Retina provides labor support and training, reduces waste, and "spellchecks" errors in real time.
Agot is seeking an experienced product manager passionate about building great enterprise-grade products. The Product Manager will write and maintain a product roadmap and Product Requirement Documents for one or more of our products. The Product Manager will be embedded with one of our agile software development teams. Using Jira, Confluence, and other tools, the PM will help define and prioritize features and capabilities. This is a hands-on role that necessitates on-site presence at our customer’s locations to seamlessly integrate our product into their workflows.
Responsibilities
- Identify customers’ needs and desires.
- Define and prioritize features and capabilities.
- Write and maintain a roadmap for one or more of our products.
- Write and maintain PRDs.
- Maintain your team’s Jira space, writing yourself most of the Jira tickets assigned to your team, and owning the team’s backlog.
- Work in harmony with the development team.
- Collaborate with other development teams and other departments.
- Stay abreast of developments in the Restaurant Industry and with the competition.
- As the subject matter expert on the product’s current and future capabilities, you will assist our commercial team in their interactions with customers and partners.
Qualifications
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred) or Science, or Business.
- You have 2+ years of relevant experience in product management using an Agile methodology.
- You are a proficient Jira user.
- You have worked in a fast-paced startup environment.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with the Restaurant Industry, Artificial Intelligence, or Computer Vision is an advantage but is not a mandatory requirement.
